First Semester Portfolio

This was for my Intro to Computer Graphics class. We had to use iMovie to create a video that was 5 minutes long and had to use GarageBand to create music for the video also. The first half of the video have images from various classes. The second half are images of websites I did a few years back using HTML before I knew about Dreamweaver. Most of the images were provided with the class books or were from the internet and then altered for the class. The images used for signatures were from the internet also but were altered also to add text or cropped or merged with other images. The end credits have the websites of the 3 artists that I used images from. This was only done for a school project, not anything else.

Concert Cleanup

This was done for my Photoshop class. We needed to create an image to get (fake) concert goers to want to throw their trash away. We had to find a city or area for a concert that wasn't nearby, a central image to put into our background, a sign, and two other images related to the project. All images were found on the internet, I just altered them with effects, coloring, etc and added the texts. I got Godzilla and put trash over his body, moved him behind a building to insert him into the background better, used an image of broadway lights in the sky area and reduced the opacity on it, added the trash pileup to the image, the sign, and a statue of liberty to show it's New York.

This was done for my photoshop class. The image was already provided with our book that we were required to use. The main point was to use text and adjust lighting to create a mood and convey what the book was about. I added the text and added effects to the text.

This was done for the photoshop class. We had to get images from the internet and use them to create an image that could be used for a cover on a brochure for a (fake) beach resort. All images were from the internet, I just altered them, changed colors and added effects to them and the title.

This was done in my photoshop class, we were learning how to make gif animations. The turtle image I got from the internet, the rest I made in Photoshop, like the blur of the turtle, grass, background and oil spot to jump over.

This was created in my photoshop class when we were learning how to do animations. We had to create a countdown image for a (fake) tv station to use before showing the news. No images were from the internet, I created it all in Photoshop. The white trailing of the numbers doesn't happen in the original, but happens here in photobucket for some reason.

This was done for my Graphic Design class. We had to create a poster for the "Giants of History" series that a (fake) library was to have showcasing various people who were significant in history to go along with books that week. We were required to use InDesign to create the poster and use 2 spot colors. Images were taken from the internet except the lightening effects, I created those in photoshop and altered the images in photoshop before importing them to InDesign, Text was created in InDesign.

Olympic Sport Postcard

This was done for my Graphic Design class. We were required to use Photoshop and to choose a sport from the Olympics and put them into an environment that the sport doesn't normally take place and to put a title to it along with 5 images aside from the background to put in it. I choose fencing and put them in an arctic environment. My 5 images were the three fencers (middle, on top of ice and on floating ice shelf), a foil (fencing weapon) near the bottom of the image, a fencing mask located in the ice on the right side of the image. The background is merged from two images, a sunrise/sunset along with an iceburg, I just merged them together. The floating ice I also altered to be smaller, it's actually a huge ice shelf but I needed something small for the fencers to stand on for fighting. All images were from the internet and altered the colors, images, and text in photoshop.

This was created for the Graphic Design class. This was our first project. We had to create a poster with our likes and dislikes on it. My likes are on the left (music, games, movies, art, outerspace, mythology, 3 favorite books, and native american crafts) and my dislikes on the right (growing in florida due to alligators and gigantic unkillable bugs, abuse, pollution, people not taking certain life changing aspects seriously, people who give up whining and don't try again, movies who's whole point seems to be a how to guide on how to commit murder, people who push their religion on you when you don't ask for it, excessive smell of smoking, people who are rude, guys who use lame excuses to get away with things, asperagus - it just smells gross and tastes nasty, public speaking, capital typing for everything in long text - it's just hard to read, people who don't use their brain to think for themselves and just act like sheep being lead to the edge of a cliff, and people who are so stupid they don't use plain common sense).

This was done for my Graphics Design class. We were required to use Illustrator to get use to using it for the first time and had to outline a fish using the pen tool then create a school of fish along with their bubbles and put them in an appropriate environment. I created everything in Illustrator (all the fish, seaweed, rocks, and fish bubbles) except the lighted water background, that I created in photoshop.
